HRH Prince Charles

Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall were given a warm welcome as they arrived in Barbados to continue their 12-day tour of the Caribbean on Tuesday (Match 19th, 2019). Prince Charles, 70, was greeted by well-wishers as they took part in the ceremony marking their visit to the capital of Bridgetown. Charles and Camilla met with Dame Sandra Mason, who as Governor General, is the Queen’s representative on the Commonwealth Island, and the country’s first woman prime minister Mia Mottley.

HRH The Prince of Wales can be seen wearing our 1786 Russian Hide oxfords which were made for him in 1987. This was the first pair we made in this very special material and have aged beautifully. Our most experienced last maker, Mr. John Carnera who has been with us for decades measured him at Kensington Palace. The patina of this material has changed and taken a more oxblood appearance.
